70-year-old war medal found in Steveston thrift store is back in the family

Last week when Garry Fairley discovered a small silver war medal at a Steveston thrift shop, he thought it was a neat piece of history. But when he got home, put on his eyeglasses, and inspected the inscription on back, he knew he�d have to let it go.
