85-year-old jewel thief arrested at Atlanta mall, accused of stealing $690 pair of earrings

Known jewel thief Doris Payne was recently arrested and charged with pocketing a $690 pair of earrings from a Saks Fifth Avenue department store at an Atlanta mall. She has committed countless thefts in the U.S. and Europe over six decades.
