Pilots and airplane owners are urging the federal government to make sure a security mistake that prevented private Canadian aircraft from entering U.S. airspace never happens again.
All Canada had to do was to reciprocate. Flights between the lower 48 and Alaska would have had to go out to international airspace in the Pacific and the matter would have been over in a day.
