ICBC admits 42 per cent in rate hikes possible for basic auto insurance

The Insurance Corporation of BC has admitted steep rate hikes for basic auto insurance, compounding to more than 42 per cent, are possible in the next five years if it can't cut costs and claims and government doesn't provide some help.
