Thank for the info. I also added those web sites to my favorites. Also, I have been reading on the Typhoon. I wish Canada would get rid off their F-18, A model and purchase it. Maybe Canada would not be some token presence in any theater and taken a little bit more seriously when deployed. Funny tha...

I have been keeping an eye on the project. I have been on the Airbus site and they have some info but no launch date.

Have you guys ever hear of the show Top Gear on the BBC. This web site has video clips of it. They test drive the latest models down an old runway. They rate them and time them on their "Track". Awesome site. http://www.flixvault.net/ If I could have my dream car it would be the Koenigsegg CCR http:...

I would buy a Bombardier Global Express. But to answer your question, I would buy an Airbus. They now have more market than Boeing with less MTBF (Main Time Between Failures) per airframe. Plus they understand better their customers/market. They are now building a Full two deck bird; the A380. Boein...

I heard this one a few years back, I believe that, at the time, it came from NF. Anyway, the Irish (if I am correct) made it a beer commercial. I've seen it at -> http://www.funnyplace.org It is not on right now. But, I bet that if we email them, that they would put it back under the "blast for t...

We should do like Australia or New Zealand (forgot which one) and get rid off the Governor general.... and the senate!

Imagine the money we would same. That alone should be a fleet of SeaKing replacements.

Technically the RCMP would have been the first regiment since their role was a military like mandate (Mid seventeen hundreds). They were later split and reassign policing duty and officially became the RCMP in 1874 (or something like that). I believe that; His Majesty's Canadian Regiment of Fencible...

The Arrow replica used in the Avro Arrow movie with Dan Akroyd is storef in a museum in Alberta. At the time they had the nose completed and some of the mainframe. The movie company offered to complete the replica and then use it in their movie. Now, that replica was built to a substandard, for exam...

The reason why the Arrow is still fresh in our mind is because we were number one in technology. There was no plane like it. The only other plane that could fly that high was a US spy plane that would fly subsonic. And that was a BIG problem for the US. The only plane that would fly that fast was a ...

Just to have a different view on communism; TITO, at the time, had Yugoslavia in a firm hand. He kept Bosnia, Serbia, and those countries from fighting against each other. It wasn't until shortly after his death that they went back at it. One man kept those countries in check for 35 years.

I think that those soldiers should pay for what they did!!!
First, this war was illegal, and then they don't want to be accountable for "the actions of a few" (to quote Mr. Bush).

BTW. Did you guys know that there is a US soldier asking for refuge status in Canada. Vietnam all over again.
