Nice try Unsound. Hard to match Cleese. He also left out the US. Maybe we could have a contest for CKA'rs to come up with threat levels for Canada and the US. I myself will not even attempt to come up with something that I'm sure Thanos can. I would maintain that our final threat level is "dro... |

Bart, what's your opinion on 2cdo having been on welfare? Should he have even gotten welfare at all, and should his kids have gone into foster care? |

The island did this not to its poor women but to those born to prominent families — the reverse of what is seen today in Western ... |

I like how we all pass around the burden of proof like a hot potato. One cannot prove or disprove the supernatural, you can only look for indicators and draw a conclusion that is consistent with reality. I haven't heard the argument about God being improbable before, how does that one go? Prove the... |

The_Doctor The_Doctor: If you do the math. If something has a 1 and a googoplex chance of not being there. It makes it fact that something will not be there.
He made an arguement that was no better than the pro God one.
It was just finger pointing. That's your math? |

You should read the link you posted. They said God was a scientific improbability, not impossibility. No there is ALWAYS a possibility. Like there IS a possibility for a magic unicorn to come in and take me away to Oz. The possibility is there. it's just VERY small. Like a 1 and a googolplex chance... |

Bullshit. It's demanding the same from Athiests as they demand from believers. Proof that a belief - whether of the existance of God or the non-existance of God, is correct. I was referring to Guy's comment. You can't take the opposite stance of someone in an arguement and not bring your own points... |

Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes: Gunnair Gunnair: I don't see athiests offering scientific proof to the contrary.
Its not up to the atheists to provide proof that god doesnt exists, they are not the ones making the claim.
It's an unprovable arguement for either side, that's just trying to win the arguement by passing the buck. |
