What exactly is this sober thing anyways Hyack, you seem fixated on it, not exactly sure why, but interesting as long as you can piggy back in on your Mod buddies comments, therebye straying off topic to feel good about what you've done today. You come up with "Fairyance" QBC then take a s...

Faireyance? Seriously? Did your kid help you come up with that one? Pretty weak, you must admit in retrospect Point is Leaf fans trying to paint their boys as angels, never has 2CDO or I to my recollection claimed the Bruins were not on the edge, actually one of the reasons I have loved the team my ...

As much as I can't stand Montreal PDT_Armataz_01_32 part of me is a little upset at how far the franchise has slid. The current bunch played a good 50 minutes last night but then stopped skating. Their antics in game 3 with slashes and elbows to the head was brutal. Trying to act "tough" ...

I'd like to see St Louis do it this year actually. I think they joined teh same year as teh Canucks and they'll never even been to the big show, never mind hoisting a cup. The St. Louis Blues entered the NHL in the original 1967 expansion. The Canucks and the Buffalo Sabres both came in on the 1970...

Sure he did. It's interference. It's a 5 minute major for interference; the ref got the call correct, absolutely. Any major penalty warrants a one game suspension, minimum. Missed the bit about Kerry Fraser even calling it a bad call. If anything Diaz should sit for even attempting such a stupid pa...

Missed the bit about Kerry Fraser even calling it a bad call. If anything Diaz should sit for even attempting such a stupid pass. Since when was Kerry Fraser an expert on anything except how to fuck up a game? I spent a lot of years on the ice wearing the stripes. That's a 5-minute interference pen...

How is it interference in any league?> Check the replay again, the puck clearly touches his stick before the hit.

Hockey is not dead in Canada. The NHL is only one form of it that has become far to much commercial and expensive for the average Joe. Drop into a local rink and watch some minor hockey games. Major Jr or Jr A/B. People playing because they love the sport not the money (yet). Hockey is alive and wel...

Negative, the medals the legion wears on the right are for stuff you do while being a legion member, they have nothing to do with military service.

Why do we need to create another statue? as mentioned there is a Peacekeeping memorial. I believe afghanistan needs to be added to the current national memorial, we were actively engaged in combat operations and suffered casulties. The reluctance of RCL does not surprise me, WWII and Korean vets hav...

I love the "times have changed" argument. Obviously said by a guy who NEVER had rounds zinging past him. A bullet or shrapnell from 1915 will fuck you up just as well as a bullet or shrapnell from 2012.

Does this stuff happen all year round and they only report it as Remembrance Day approaches, or shitheads amp up their crap in Oct/Nov? Any time now we will be reading about poppy boxes being stolen too, you can set your watch to it every year
