The thing is that there are Quebecers, that are regular taxpayers, that are pissed at the protesters' behavior. Still, not much is said about them throughout the media (provincial and ROC). Although, the few protesters do not represent the populace, yet they are often the loud minority being vocal ...

Bodah Bodah:
No singing was required when I was in school. We just had to stand or stop moving if we were walking down the halls on the way to class etc.

Me neither that I can recall. Still, my personal opinion, it should have been done in schools to show respect and appreciation for the country we live in.

Ok, so this is getting outright embarrassing for the province. They have the lowest tuition rates in the country still manage to find the way to protest and cause damage without any recognition for the taxpayers, you know the ones that actually contribute to their socialized programs. The fucking pu...

People voted and the CPC actually kept a campaign promise. Let it go. The provincial Govt, both the PQ/PLQ, should instead start by getting their own issues straightened out, such as corruption in the construction industry, student protests, giving in to every union demands (ex: CPE), spending cuts,...

They should get with the times. Unions don't care about anything but their own interests. Companies need to stay competitive on the world markets. But instead unions bitch about overcompensation and their demands are often overstated. Take the fact that some employees in the public sector, for examp...

Bureaucrats, always nice for them to actually do anything constructive, especially at the taxpayers' expense.

The Quebec Govt needs to seriously consider spending cuts in the public sector.

This is seemingly a good article about unions in Ontario, but nothing compared to the province of Quebec. In this province, unions are much more powerful than most assume. They essentially run the Government behind closed doors. They often use dirty tactics such as having open floor voting (meaning ...

Tory Radicalism - huh, say what ! There were no deep cuts, something to please the leftist media. There should have been more cuts in the CBC at least, amongst anything else. Meh, this forum is only a place to rant a bit. Although, you have to admit that, for the most part, the media has had ...

I am from Quebec City.

And I have visited a lot of places, although, too many to publicly list, all fun, but then don't need a forum to validate. :)

And these spoiled brats keep on protesting. They refuse to negotiate, probably some Unions behind the movemement. That's a good image to portray, blocking bridges amongst other things, to piss off those who actually contribute, the tax payers.

This is shameful.
