As for the reduction in National Defence, eventhough their excuse was the pull out of Afghanistan, the military equipment needs to be improved. As for the CBC, perhaps not the regional programming but instead the many overpaid fatcats/bureaucrats. Also they could have reduced some useless Arts fundi...

Politicians should at least lead by example, that is reduction in their own gold-plated pension plans and those of bureaucrats before considering that of regular tax payers.

So, I was browsing through Facebook and this comment came up by a Canadian Network. Kinda figured that was for a good discussion so here is the posting for it. So, for comment. I am for increased and not decreased spending for the Forces. The CBC should have gotten more cuts, as biased as they can b...

In case students ever side with the independance movement, they should be told what tuition prices would be like with no equalization payments. Actually it should come as no surprise that the PQ (separatist party) supports the students' cause to protest. They have also the support of the elite left...

They are getting to be a nuisance and a real embarrassment. Most, not all, are simply spoiled brats. One thing, although do not want to post as one trick pony, but part of the blame has to be put on the Quebec Francophone media. They constantly take the pro-side of the protesters. It is also very im...

 Shep Some seem so eager to blame the ''White'' man, while mostly it is the minorities or ethnics that are the most racists. One only has to go to some of the ghettos, most particularly Montreal North, to realise that fact. It is also known that some immigrate to this country already having an ...

This is simple, as it always seems more controversial for the media or some people to point out the ''minority'' separatist point of view instead of the silent ''majority'' of Quebecers that do not want a sovereign nation.

Canada has a lesson or two to learn from the immigration situation in Europe.

Some major immigration reforms are in order in this country, but whenever someone even brings it up, they are automatically labeled a racist of some kind.

There needs to be major reforms at our immigration.

Selective immigration : European immigration is ok but the others not so much. Especially those that go on welfare upon arriving and never contribute anything.

Obviously, you guys are not that familiar with the bias amongst the media in Quebec, especially SRC (the French CBC) and TVA. A good comparison for journalism in Quebec would be that of the tabloid TV. Here journalists are mostly pro-left, pro-union, pro-environment, pro-artists, pro-nationalist, pr...

I'm just interested to know from those that deny AGW what their model ... Probably because most of the deniers don't understand basic thermodynamics--if they did they likely wouldn't be deniers. In all due respect, as long as there is a debate from both sides, then that's ok. The problem is that us...

Really, this whole thing is being seen by the public for what it is. Nobody cares except the partisans from either side, the wankers in Parliament and the media. Yawn. Perhaps my previous comment came out a bit too ''partisan''. Although, I should elaborate a bit more. Admittingly, I am a bit more t...
