Canadian scientists probing a mountaintop in the Northwest Territories have discovered what they believe is the oldest evidence of animals on Earth -- about 850-million-year-old traces of a primitive, sponge-like organism...that was the earliest common ancestor of all animals, including humans. The...

I'll save my criticism for the Conservatives if and when they get in bed with the Bloc. If they hop into bed with the BLOC just to stay afloat, my vote is going to which ever fringe party is in my riding. On Wednesday, Parliament witnessed a bizarre move when the Conservatives voted in favour of a ...

Well Toronto was dumping their garbage in Michigan until it became a political issue for residents of Michigan and they put a stop to it. Now Toronto is busy converting Southern Ontario into their dumping ground. The same will happen in BC if smaller, poorer municipalities can be paid off to approve...

Actually, I think the victim here is the winery and they should be the ones suing OLG and the casino. I think they would have a better chance of winning the lawsuit. The casino's attitude here is, "we'll take your money, millions of dollars worth, with no questions asked." Try and rip the ...

I've got it, why don't we make it illegal to get pregnant, when pregnancy is not desired.Have them sign some sort of confession that the pregnancy was unintended, pay some sort of fine or punishment, but leave abortion legal. For is not the unwanted pregnancy what we are all against, all in agreemen...

It doesn't snow in Britain. Let me rephrase. They don't have snowplows in Britain :D Yep, I forgot that was the location of the article. I was relating the problem of speedbumps to most of Canada. We'd probably have them all across the country by now if it didn't snow. And those cool reflective lan...

Potholes do not serve the same purpose as speedbumbs. They still haven't repaired the potholes from the 2007/2008 winter here on the road. I am used to speedbumbs in Holland, they don't wreck your car as much AND they are freaking visable. It's rainy in Britain, wth are they thinking? This one woul...
