I read the four pages of replies since my original post and am amazed at the back and forth caused by some people being complete idiots. Look, you live in Canada and because we are a free Country, we have the right to fly our National flag and not be forced to hang a picture of a dictator leader. Th...

Pimpbrewski Pimpbrewski:
And by the way, the Canadian flag, also the provincial flags, should be the only ones flown or displayed in this country.

That I can't agree with. People should have the right to display flags of their birtn Country, where they were raised or whatever. But respect it as well.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
He attempted to convince them to change the flag and the laughed at him. I almost completely doubt they'd let him near the flag.

I don't think they would agree to something like that.

Call Poulins' toll free 1-888-768-5467. Or email them at winnipeg@poulins.ca. I did. A couple people have called and a couple have emailed. They should have the message now. Let's just leave them alone for a day or two and see what happens. I will update this with news on if the flag gets taken down.

When contacted about the flag, I got the idea they don't care. Don Poulin's assistant laughed it off thinking it's no big deal to disrespect Canada. She pretty much said they will get around to it when they do. I'm pretty sure you can call the RCMP, and they will do something about it. There are la...

It's a disgrace the way some people and some businesses don't care about the Country they live in. I'm talking about the condition of the Canadian flag that some people fly. Dirty, torn and parts missing. It's disrespectful. My rant right now is against Poulin's Pest Control in Winnipeg. They have a...

I want to comment here. First, I hope none of this support stuff is spousal support. I do not agree with that. There is nothing that stops a woman from getting a job besdies laziness. I'm a Dad. When my ex wife split then divorced, I had no problem with paying child support. I paid it even before it...

Best Story I ever heard was Punch Imlach when he was with Buffalo left a game early Toronto was leading Boston by two goals in the third period.. he left early cause he thought the game was over Boston scored 3 in the last 5 minutes.. to win the game...You never ever leave before the games over. Sa...

the woman next to me was KNITTING! YES KNITTING!

All right, if you're going to go, then watch the damn game. That seat was a waste for sure. That's not being a fan or showing support. That's just plain rude.

Come on, you boought the ticket to support your team. Do you think they like seeeing an empty arena the last half of the third? If you...

I for one am happy that the Leafs missed the playoffs. I hate everything about that team and it really drove me crazy the way TSN rode "The Leaf Train". The day Toronto beat Montral to knock out the Habs, TSN had a huge 10 minute story on the importance of the game. Right after that was th...

Yes, a 5-1 Canadian victory. I thought it was going to be closer like the first period was. 0-0 after one, but Team Canada poured it on after that. Took a 4-0 lead before the Americans scored. The building was electric and the roof blew off at the clocked hit the 20 minute mark of the third. On anot...
