Trump didn't win the last election that's why he tried to steal it. He has all but alienated the independent vote this time and he is getting taken off the ballot in multiple states for being an insurrectionist. Last time he was elected he had a slim chance and he pulled it off with everything work...

He doesn't need to do anything but keep feeding his base red meat. However, to expand beyond his base and win a majority he does need to win over a few votes from the ABC crowd and NOT look weak to his base. How does he thread that needle? So far he is all about playing fast and loose with the fact...

One person brought half a turkey for our Christmas dinner (as my duaghter sez: It ain't Xmas unless you gag down dry turkey and a couple brussel sprouts). Made her leave just enough to make a sandwich and take the rest home. The one that took home the ham came back with some home made pea soup toda...

Is there a way to view the CKA on PC normally now? Chrome was the first to go, then Firefox, and now Edge.

All I get is text and images scattered across the page, making it difficult to read or post anything.

Should we try and set up another lifeboat?

Would archiving some of the old content (say pre-2010 or something) free up space and make CKA less problematic? Or is this some other issue entirely?

Given enough time, I will eventually agree with the UCP. Photo radar on underpasses does nothing to change people's habits with respect to speeding, whereas I see people flying (like 70!) in the 40 zone outside my home, approaching the 30 playground zone on the next block. Crossing the street while...

Alberta bans photo radar on Edmonton, Calgary ring roads Over the next year, the province will allow Calgary and Edmonton to select high-risk areas such as school, playground and construction zones to redeploy the photo radar sites. Calgary's ring road has eight photo radar sites and Edmonton's rin...

My partner and I got our boosters last Monday. As with my past shots (last October being the previous one) my arm started feeling heavy about 4 hours after the shot and was sore, as though with muscle strain, for the next day then fine. We were both tired that day and crashed early. I've gotten so ...

I get that it is inefficient for a lot of people, but for those of us in northern latitudes, it makes sense. It makes winter mornings a bit lighter by shifting the hour to the morning, and in the summer, it makes evenings a bit brighter longer. The Pros and Cons of Daylight Savings Time I know I'm i...

Alberta CPP-exit panel argues with callers, tries to persuade naysayers at town hall How much of Albertan tax-payer money are they going to spend trying to push this idea that it seems the majority of Albertan residents oppose already? I just don't the CPP exit thing happening because she wants it ...

As I said, two wrongs don't make a right, but I think Israel does have a right to defend itself from a neighbouring government whose representatives have clearly stated that their goal is to exterminate the Jews. Israel has as much right to exterminate Hamas as Hamas has to exterminate Israel. Hard...

Actions have consequences and the Palestinians (and other Arabs) need to accept the outcome of their many wars with Israel. And given that infamous interview from a Hamas leader recently in which he stated their goal is to exterminate every Jew in Israel, I simply don't have much sympathy for anyon...
