I have no issue with this, in principle, but if it was an all Male fitness club would the same decision be made? I think not as most All-Male gyms have been forced to allow mixed membership....I hate the double standard.

All I hear over and over again from vocal people who have no understanding of the world situation or the military is to bring the troops home. Lets put this in perspective, those of us in uniform have no desire to be shot at or to shoot anyone, yet we all feel we need to be in Afghanistan as do many...

The thing about this, is it all boils down to seperation of church and state. Individual religions have the right to refuse the ceremonies based on religious beliefs, but government officials, such as a justice of the peace, are required to follow the laws in the performance of thier duties. If they...

To be quite honest, I am not for or against same sex marriage. To be quite honest, it doesnt affect me and as such, I do not see why it is such a big deal. Now, I am neither pro or anti religion either. That being said, I feel that religions should be able to practice thier beliefs. How does this al...

Actually, the creation of Bob and Doug had nothing to do with Canadian Content, as the whole show was Canadian. It was created because of commercials. Yes in those days, you may remember there didn't seem to be that many commercials compared to today and you would be right for Canadian TV. The Ameri...

Throw into this the fact that he is a Newf (We are not known for keeping our honest opinions to ourselves) and he has been one of the guys at "The pointy end of the spear" with the politicians sitting behind the scenes ignoring the advice, the requirements, and the moral support requirements along w...

Not to diminish what you said SprCForr, cause I agree that we should not underestimate the enemy, but I do not feel calling them scumbags does this in anyway. I think it actually helps by bringing to the forefront the fact that they do not follow the "Gentlemen's Rules" of armed combat, i.e. civilia...

His remarks should remind the Canadian public, that attempting to run the military like any other department has hamperred/crippled the military fo...
