| The canadian public has swallowed the argument that 'we need to be able to compete globally'. This is why they vote for the least trustworthy of the bunch. I don't buy this crap about needing to keep feeding the corporations, so we can keep our jobs. Our country has its' own resources, well trained ... |

| These mining ventures are always extolling the virtues of the newest extraction project, hundreds of great paying jobs, lasting for years and years etc. Why do these companies always screw the environment? With millions in profit, they must be made to be responsible to deal with their own waste. Why... |

Good article. I have directed my thoughts to todays youth while reading it. I see todays youth obsessed with 'stuff'. They want it all for little to no work. Instant rewards. Bring it to me easy.
With this kind of youth of today, I don't think we will see a third time. |

| I have heard that the rise in oil is deliberate. The cost increase serves the purpose of the needed protection of the devaluation of the US dollar. It is interesting to note the staged request by Bush asking the Saudis to increase yields. The Saudis say 'sorry, there is no shortage of oil supplies'.... |

I guess the police forgot to put on their kid gloves before dealing with this drunken little stinker. If you wanna act big, then thats what you get dahling.
The police have just been given a consequence for their actions-now where is hers? I hate the message this is sending out to youth of today. |

| I recall feeling so insulted by Harper's remark about it being about jelly beans. Unfortunately, there seems to be no backbone in parliament to stop Harper from fulfilling his dictatorial dreams. |

| When will Americans realize that their economic gods really have no idea of what they are doing? NAFTA, SPP, globalization will bring further poverty to North America. New Orleans is not a 'one off'. It is the first of many disasters to come. How will they be able to handle all this dispair when the... |

Actually, the Americans are running scared that everything is made somewhere else. They run a trade deficit, and it is growing under Bush policy. It just takes tham a little longer to realize this is not a good thing, being brainwashed on a daily basis by the media.
Long live protectionism! |

| Typically American, there is one tour operator selling tickets on his bus to see the 'streets of forclosure'. Yup, and there were people on it. Vultures are circling everywhere waiting for the moment when the rot is just right. |

I have come to the conclusion that the likes of Toro, are simply born this way. Their brain function is sim... |
