I would ask my in laws how much money it would take to pay off their house, car and all the money they have borrowed off of friends and family over the years. Then I would take that money pile it up in their front yard cover it in gas and burn it in front of them. |

This would be a great boom for the community and a great move for the CF. Unfortunatly the farmers loose out. However, most of the farmers took advantage of the settlements from the government back in 2006-2007. Just the odd hold out now. |

$250,000 to support your family or spouse. No family or spouse no money. Seems simple to me. I don't see any soldiers complaining about it the way it is, and we all know they way it is before we go over. This $250,000 is also a stop gap measure in case of no life insurance the family is not high and... |

Doesn't need to be splattered all over the news. My and my buddies knee jerk reactions were all so what. Cheating spouses is part of married life and part of life in the CF. This has been reported for 3-4 days now. Big news worthy? Hardly! Really, I didn't realize that was part of the recruiting pi... |

How about putting it on a Vacation billing program? That's what I did when I went... I had to pay for 6 months of vacation time and 1 month of regular service because they will only do it for 6 months. Was something like $15 a month to keep the number. |

This is not good. 500 positions you can't fill? In your opinion stokes, why are these positions so undesirable? And why in comparison was it easier to fill the crewman positions? The toughest thing is that the Army has been in the news for the last 8 years due to Afghanistan. a lot of young men see... |

I'm going to play devils advocate here.... the article says it all, you don't have the sailors or the money you don't man the ships. Sad fact is the average Canadian does not support a MASSIVE increase in military spending and until that happens this is going to occur. |

The Queens Cowboys have to get their man... Just can't make everyone happy. Independent investigation clears the RCMP and yet they are still look upon badly. Never mind the POS who started the chase or the fact that the whole event took place in 12 and half minutes. But that's right once again slag... |
