Technically, through the Govenor General, we are under the command of the Soverign, The Queen...
That's why we wear the Queens crown on our cap badges and regimental & squadron crests.... |

| 2500 are there, 2500 just came home and 2500 more are training to replace the guys that just got there. There really is no more, that's the Canadian army. 800 is low, more around 1100, infantry, armoured troops, and arty. How can we defeat the talibs, with our 2500, plus the several thousands the US... |

| Canada cannot send anymore troops, there are no more. Pace yourself, we're there til 2009. Remember some troops just came home, some just got there, and others are training to replace the guys who just got there in 6 months. There's not a lot left. Canada cannot "activate" militia units li... |
