| The German LEO2 and British Cahallanger are both excellent tanks, I would put both ahead of the American M1 only because of the logistic support issue. US M1's have a jet turbine engine, they comsume fuel at an enormous rate. The Challanger & LEO2 are desiel, better gas milage, cheaper to operat... |

| I have met Gen Lucas, I can honestly say I was NOT impressed. He's more a politician than an Airman. Our C130E's are falling aprt, they cannot be used for SAR, they'll need saving themselves. The Buffs are a great plane, they are used in BC because of the mountains. C130's cannot get into the mounta... |
