"Now it's time to get our fellow Canadians educated and fired up!"

Wez tryin Boss, Wez tryin!

andalthough it is difficult to judge the number of Canadians truely 'reached' by what some of us post here i have notice the number of anti big bank responses grow.
and who can say what the readers, who outnumber the respondees 10:1 are thinking?

The main mark of modern governments is that we do not know who governs, de facto any more than de jure. We see the politician and not his backer; still less the backer of the backer; or, what is more important of all, the banker of the backer. Throned above all, in a manner without parallel in all the past, is the veiled prophet of finance, swaying all men living by a sort of magic. - G. K. Chesterton

This is such a seriously important topic, involving Canada's sovereignty
and the media which ought to defend it, that it may be an appropriate
time to ask this question:

Could we drop the cute sayings and witticisms which are repeated over
and over after certain Vive messages, detracting from their impact,
adding nothing but irritation, and often getting confused with the fresh
comments?

I did try to use an utterly meaningless sentence as a demo, for a while,
but it seemed to go over just as well as everyone else's. It was, as best I
can recall:

My pickled onions are superior to your pickled onions.
- Old Man of the Rocky Mountains, circa 1887.

I rest my case. Meantime, there's the Canadian mainstream media sadly
in need of reminders that we see their errors of omission and we
demand better of them.

If you think that a polite letter to a big newspaper editor gets no results,
please drop in at my blog to see what the Editor-in-Chief said to me ... !

While the topic is indeed and in deed serious Dear Mary isn’t about time that YOU began to realize (zee for zed) the concept of national sovereignty has always been a red herring meant to distract the herd and there hasn’t been a free and independent media in existence since typesetters were eliminated

“Could we drop the cute sayings and witticisms which are repeated over

comments? “

Off on another rant aren’t cha? when you could just as easily devote your time to productive endeavours as we all know you can, rather than prattle on about irritation and confusion like some addled octogenarian, which you aren’t, are you?

“I did try to use an utterly meaningless sentence as a demo, for a while,

Don’t flatter your self Mary It is unbecoming of a woman of your age ;-)

“I rest my case. Meantime, there's the Canadian mainstream media sadly
in need of reminders that we see their errors of omission and we
demand better of them.”

Rest, or adjourned to a later date?
Canadian mainstream media, as you call them IS serving exactly who they choose to serve. Please get off this dime of believing the press of today has some obligation to inform and speak truth, The public can make no such “demands” of ‘private enterprise’ and will not!

“If you think that a polite letter to a big newspaper editor gets no results,

Was what ever you politely ‘demanded now change forever more?

Mary I have seen you at your best on these pages and what I now respond to ain’t it…!

only a gentle chide Mary,Dear

Now that there are more stories out, don't you think the big bad media simply missed the story instead of ignoring it? You should have been proud of getting a good scoop rather than whining about "the media". Especially since you are part of the media.

To all who want Canada to stay sovereign.
You had better fight, inform your friends and neighbors even if they don't want to hear. And you better fight as hard and dirty as you can.
Right now in USA we have a group of wealthy elites who have decided they need to run the world. You have some Canadians who also want on that bandwagon.
In Texas we are fighting as hard as we can but the chance of victory is very slim as we did not believe or wake up until almost too late.
Fight this One World Order before your Canada is gone.

Dio: look up dysfunction. Then stuff a sock in it.

Look at what you've written. And you think we want to achieve THAT
standard? Either be constructive or shut t.f.u. Eejit.

DC, if you can sort through the typos, check out Dio's insults: age-
based, gender-based, sovereignty-based, every line is a battlefield, for
no logical reason ... is this kind of personal attack OK by you?

Vive is such a good place for the exchange of ideas. But every once in a
while, this kind of attack is allowed and suddenly the environment
changes: one character is allowed to live ... the next character shall die
... it's very unpleasant. What's the point?

Doggone strange, however, that you jump on MY rejoinder while the
attack is absolutely OK by you. I think that Dio's attack is NOT OK. Not
OK at all. It's offensive, for no gainful purpose.

And I'd like to suggest again -- courteously again -- that one man's
witticisms are another man's p.i.a. Repeating these drolleries at every
turn, and they morph into annoyances. Surely you weren't attempting to
brain-wash your readers?

Ignorance must be truly bliss!

Yesterday, I left the house and told nearly everyone I spoke to about the Banff Springs Conference, the people, the agenda and the motivation behind it and the responses were depressing. I saw more glazed eyes that Timmy has doughnuts. People just don't seem to get it. At least not around here anyway. Hopefully they're coming to at some point later in the day saying "Hey what did that guy say?".

BC Mary, just in case you didn't know (not being sarcastic) but the quotes at the bottom of our posts are not typed in each time we make a post. They are "signtures" that are part of the process vive has when we register an account. Some people opt to have one while others don't. But, as for it's acceptance here at vive, they have provided a space for them, otherwise we wouldn't do so. I don't think dio is using a signature to bother anyone.

Sorry for the off topic post, but I just wanted to clarify why you see these quotes.
