We'll take back Omar......if he comes in a bodybag. That will be 50 years from now. Sounds about right.

Iggy's world is falling apart all around him. Support dropping in the polls, decention among the ranks and even his senators are telling him to fly a kite. Donations will be the next thing to dry up. Being out of power and without the ability to steal tax payers money should keep the LPC broke for a...

So why is the richest country in the world #38 when it comes to life expectancy? Also, you can't take one single statistic and hold it up as the holy grail of prosperity. Why don't we compare other items such as living conditions, ability to travel, disposable income, net worth, access to internet,...

Are you not splitting hairs here? It's not like the difference between 1st and 38th is 25 years. It's something like a one or two year difference.

The problem is not a Canadian doing business in Cuba. It was a Canadian exporting US goods into Cuba. Important parts you seemed to have missed....... Cuba is Canada's largest trading partner in the Caribbean, with imports and exports between both countries estimated at more than $435 million a year...

These poll numbers don't include the Liberal fallout in Quebec, the fact that Liberal MP are wanting to defect and Harpers surprise Beatles rendition.

I can't wait to see the next poll. It could mean the end to another Liberal leader.

buy outs are capitalism. bail outs are socialist. Then there are no capitalist countries in the G8. There is a difference..... http://angrybear.blogspot.com/2009/08/nyt-as-big-banks-repay-bailout-money-us.html# The profits, collected from eight of the biggest banks that have fully repaid their obli...

Not this again. Harper did what he did on his own because he was afraid of losing power. Its amazing how many are so willing to heap the economic recovery on Harper yet not the consequences. Obama may not be the poster child of capitalism (that would be Bernie Madoff) but even American "social...

In the last election, the Liberals only held seats in Toronto, Montreal and a few in Vancouver and Newfoundland. Pretty soon they will "officially" be the Liberal Party of Toronto.

Actually, Harper was forced to bail out those companies by the left wing parties and I would hardly call Obama the poster child of capitalism. If capitalists are going to point out failures of socialism then they must acknowledge their own. No doubt, both sides have their short comings. However a qu...

If capitalism (or at least some aspects of it) weren't failing then they wouldn't be needing to be bailed out by tax payer money. You keep coming back to bailouts. I have been very clear on this issue. GM should have been allowed to die. Same with CitiBank and AIG. The rest would have easily picked...

EI, pensions, sick days, overtime, job benefits, vac pay, maternity/paternity leave, health insurance, min wages, etc. ALL made possible because a capitalist started a small business that grew into a large one and had to hire thousands of people to work. All of things run counter to capitalism. All...
