Only once has a European team ever won the World Cup outside Europe, and that was when Spain won it in South Africa in 2010. Even before the cut it is the lowest...

I don't get why anybody gets miffed about other peoples marriages etc. What impact on my marriage does two guys marrying each other have? We are going to look back at all this stuff in a few years and wonder what all the fuss is about. It's all very silly. Marriage is supposed to be between a man a...

Nah. Experts have said it is unlikely that all-out war will break out. There is going to be no WWIII for the time being.

That's my point. Unions make up holidays that don't exist

That's a bad thing? You don't like a day off?

There is no such thing as EASTER MONDAY! Funny how unions are anti religion yet they need another religious holiday.

It's just another excuse for them to do no work.

A formalized Anglosphere without American participation would be pointless anyway. It'd be like the British Commonwealth against Hitler circa November 1941 all over again. Strong enough to hold the line but still too weak by themselves to ever achieve an overall victory without American contributio...

I'd favour leaving the EU and forming closer ties with the other Commonwealth countries. In June last year, the economy of the Commonwealth overtook that of the Eurozone. And whereas the Eurozone economy is predicted by the IMF to have no growth for the next five years the economy of the Commonwealt...

In the eyes of someone from Britain, with 63,181,775 people packed into an area the same size as Michigan, EVERYWHERE in Canada is isolated. It boggles the mind that Canada is the same size as the whole of Europe, but whereas Europe (3,930,000 sq mi) has 739 million people Canada (3,854,085 sq mi) ...
