Trick is to cover the cage completely - I was driving my brother back to university and his cat whined halfway there until we put a blanket over the carrying case... she was much better after that. |

It's kinda funny the differences between men and women on sex. Women get raped and they feel violeted (as they should) and develope depression due to there traumitic experience. Couple of guys get raped and there only wish was that the woman diddn't bother drug them so they could have been there fo... |

I was a spare on a team this year, went to 3-4 practices but I'm not around for the actual race. Definitely quite the workout. |

Obviously you people don't actually read much past the titles of news articles  She gave them drinks with clonidine, which almost immediately sent them to sleep for almost 24 hours. After that, she undressed her victims and raped them, tightening a rope on their male organs to kep them erect. |

Not one that could ever take a drink again with spiralling back into the old behaviour. The behaviour may change, but the addiction has already been established and would re-establish itself again given the opportunity. Right, so you're maintaining that someone who was an alcoholic that hasn't had ... |

Once an alcoholic, POTENTIALLY always an alcoholic. I'd go as far as to say very likely. There are always exceptions, and those are extremely rare. In over thirty years where I’ve been involved, I’ve never known an exception. You're saying you've never known someone that's recovered from a dependen... |

[1] Once the alcoholic dependency has been established however, it’s fair to consider them alcoholic for life only because once the cycle is reintroduced, recidivism is all but guaranteed. [2] AND if you don't abuse alcohol, you don’t NEED alcohol, you’re not an alcoholic. I don't see these two cla... |

I would think they just use ridiculous stunts like this, that breastmilk ice cream thing, the "sea kitty" declaration, etc, to direct attention to their more serious campaigns, knowing precisely how much attention they can get from the media, but I really don't know if it works in their ad... |

See, that's the problem for people with addictive personalities and predispositions. They don't know before they try that first cigarette or cheeseburger or whiskey shot how much they're gonna like it. It's easy to say "if you don't want to be an alcoholic, don't drink", but people usuall... |

That's not entirely true. There are plenty of alcoholics who no longer use alcohol. Based on what though? The fact that they're predisposed to being unable to consume alcohol in moderation? That goes back to my point about distinguishing the predisposition from the condition - you don't say someone... |

I wonder what the original reference to crying/screaming carrots was - my grandfather always joked about it years ago, and I actually wrote that before I saw Derby's post, but added the quote so it made more sense.... then there's the Tool song, and the Arrogant worms song, and probably more. Maybe ... |

Brenda Brenda: Just curious... She did this in 97. Did she get sentenced only NOW?? Yeah, that's just as puzzling as the sentencing. The kid she burned is older now than she was when she did it... weird. |
