no, i would prefer an apology and a retraction of the statement. Anything blatantly racist is offensive. It's not like I know the person in question, that's why it deserves an apology in my opinion. As someone who works in health care and having worked years in an ER, I am sure that through out this country there are many people who die waiting to be seen.
