Fifeboy, since you seem to have taken a pro-ban stance, please humour me and respond to my questions at the bottom of page 3 of this thread. I've yet to see any coherent responses to it from any of the pro-ban crowd.

Well the thing is it works smoothly out of the box for a lot of things, maybe for everything you need. But then you can sometimes run into trouble installing a program that's not included in the stuff your package manager can just install for you... in which case you may have to go to a command prom...

I have Madriva 2006 on one of my 3 computers so that I can play around with a home website. But, I find it a very capable workstation computer for running OpenOffice, and webrowsing.
