John Molson School of Business does have a better program than McGill, however McGill is known internationally by it's name. It's your choice. Do you want a school with the better program, or do you want a school known for it's name. Hard decision. On what basis do you conclude that one program is ...

How on earth does someone DUI 17 times and not have their license taken away for good? I hate to say it but we could learn from the Yukon. They have a separate piece of ID for drinking that the cops can take away if you do anything stupid while drunk. Next time someone DUI just take away their abil...

I've never bought beer on a Sunday morning. I tried once while residing in the southern U.S. and was told that I could not purchase any beer before noon on Sunday. I would think that not allowing beer sales in the morning any day would be a good thing. From experience (of course not first hand) I kn...

Never had horse meat before, never will. I do recall back many moons, as a child going on hunting trips with my dad. We would hunt caribou, and I recall having caribou stew. The meat was quite tasty, and I would surely eat it again if given the opportunity.

SHERBROOKE, Que. - A Quebec man has been charged with drinking and driving for the 17th time. Maurice Larrivee allegedly showed up this Sunday morning at a grocery store to buy a case of two dozen beers at 8:45. Many of us in Quebec are not bilingual, and therefore rely on English correspondnace from all levels of government (Federal, Provincial, Municipal). In cases where a resident of Quebec is refused correspondance in English from any level of government, I believe a civil lawsuit could be filed against...

My prayers go out to the victim's family members. Unfortunately all of his family members are overseas. This was a truly horrible crime. I was following this on the news, and they were inteviewing witnesses who described the gruesome crime. Witnesses reported hearing a loud scream followed by a horr...

Had a record snowfall in Montreal as well yesterday (December 27). 18 inches (45 cm) in less than 24 hours. The weather patterns here this month have been quite abnormal, ranging from rain, sleet, hail and snow. Not to mention the temperature fluctuations.

If it deters someone who is mentally unstable from shooting up a school, then yes I'm all for it. It would definitely provide me with some peace of mind if my child were attending a school that had a full time police officer on duty.

If someone asked me to remove my hat, I'd tell 'em to fuck off, personally. I've never even heard of this hat rule. OK, if it's some fancy joint (and, obviously, a military mess hall), sure, but at Micky D's and places like that all the staff are wearing hats. Who cares? Well, I wouldn't go that fa...

I still say that wearing a hat indoors including restaurants is perfectly fine. I see it all the time, whether it be a yarmulke or a baseball cap.
