I download music. I also buy CDs and rip them to my drive. I even pay for some of my music downloads, by preference directly from the musician's site, not a 3rd party vendor. It is RIAA and it's Canadian baby bother that are behind laws like this. While those organizations may sound like a good idea...

According to TV weather, the first ten days of June were the coldest on record in BC. On the coast, I'm in a hot spot, a balmy 16, This time of year we ought to be around 20C. Global warming my ass :)

I have been doing a weekly internet radio show for a year now, featuring blues, blues/rock, and an assortment of other stuff, every Wednesday evening, 6-8 PM Pacific. Homelessness is a growing problem almost everywhere it seems. There are even homeless in smaller centres, like the Comox Valley and Campbell River, up island from Victoria. The provincial government does not seem to care, not even enough to start shipping them back east, where many came from. :) Vic...

It has been a while since I was to Victoria, but it was getting almost as bad as Granville Mall in Vancouver. I did almost loose it at one guy, panhandling perched below a help-wanted sign.

If you want to be homeless, Victoria is a nice place to be. But Vancouver is not shipping them over. Ferry fare is more than the Provincial government is willing to spend on the homeless issue.

Of course, creationism is real, with scientific evidence to support it. Man created gods to provide comfort and someone to blame for all the bad and scary things of the early world. Man created gods, not the other way around.
