RUEZ RUEZ: Are we losing out on something in BC? Do other provinces have benefits we don't have?
We only get an 8% increase in federal transfers while Quebec gets a 34% increase. How is that fair? |

lily lily: Obviously the budget isn't good for BC - the finance minister doesn't even realize we're here.
Leave it to the conservatives ironically to alienate the west even though they were at one time a western based party. |

| A lot of drug addicts are mentally ill who cannot take of themselves which is why they end up in poverty. This argument is going in circles i think we should stop now were saying the same stuff over and over again. |

| A lot of these people are mental ill as in having psychological disorders such as schizophrenia. Most of these people can't take of themselves. | It won't matter if they're in jail or not they will still do drugs. After they've served their time they will be back on the streets shooting up drugs. Whats the point? | It's so much better having them shootup on the streets and back alleys!! Alleys are dark and more spread out so maybe not. :P I say we stand for neither and make drugs illegal like they should be and just arrest people. Get tough on drugs and use hard love. If that doesn't work just build some camp... |

| I hope they close this site down. The only good rehab is when you try and get off drugs. Also most people who live by it do not like it there and just provides a central location for all the drug attics to hang around at much like that library. Not to mention it makes the city looks gross and many ... |
