I was one who commented in the other thread concerning deer. I do think it's wrong to feed wildlife in general but don't feel it's wrong when helping to rehabilitate an animal who's suffered an injury, two different scenarios. Found this article which states that if the intruder surrenders or is incapacitated using force could lead to charges. Many injured wild animals are brought to wildlife rehabilitation facilities and taken care of until well enough to be released back into the wild, I see nothing wrong with this man helping this moose and her calf.

I have to agree with the judge's ruling in this case...somewhat. While I don't agree that the offender did not recieve any punishment for his crime I do agree that the homeowner in this case did. The article mentions that the offender was brought down in a garden outside the home, what they should ...

Haven't heard the name Salmo in a long time. We've done the winter drive over the Salmo Creston summit a few times, pretty scary at times.

I wonder how many of the townsfolk who are complaining of the overpopulation now were some of the people feeding them, lol. Sounds like more a people problem to me. Of course these animals are going to stay close to a food supply in the winter months so impliment fines to the offenders and allow hu...
