Another funny thing, if you read this Star article: 1 - Tony Clement wasn\'t backed by Harris, because of his \"Disturbing penchant for independant thinking.\" lol 2 - John Laschinger, who ran Harris\' \"Tax-cutter\" campaign in 1990, (right) David Miller\'s mayoralty campaign (c... |

Jim, I meant in an election, (assuming she gets the leadership) she\'ll have no chance when the voters decide. Sorry I wasn\'t clear. That being said, it\'s funnt. Tony Clement is young, eloquent, bilingual, and beight, and would DEFINITELY be the best leader, if he can improve his presence. That be... |

I just finished the Globe article. Saunders still can\'t spell, or write for that matter, but this was interesting. Robert McNamara sounds so \"Canadian,\" talking of the importance of international bodies, such as the INternational Criminal Court, which the U.S. recruits against, although... |

The evidence mounts.
At least colonized \"Douggie Saunders\" is writing about U.S. misdeeds for a change. |

Who cares what the US thinks. That being said, I agree with your other comment, that Kyoto is just a meaningless number. We need DRASTIC improvement. You want to decrease emissions? Tax gasoline like the Europeans so, and build better railways for people to ride on to avoid cars, and for people to s... |

And Whelan, even if Iraq DID have WMD\'s, they CAN\'T reach the U.S., not even Israel. We KNOW that North Korea has WMD\'s.....Saudi Arablie, Syria, etc. are brutal regimes, and China, India, Pakistan have WMD\'s. I guess they like to pick on beatable, indefensible opponents. Also, we know that WE l... |

Also, I read on ericblumrich.com that cancer-rates in ex-Vietnam, Kosovo, and Iraq soldiers is 7-13 times above normal, or something like that....due to depleted urnaium, with a half-life of 4.5 billion years. Goodie.
Want to be a reporter in Iraq now? hehh. |

He was an ex-marine, a computer animator, and a VERY nice guy......he was very self-depricating, almost Canadian....anbd he was VERY messed-up, mentally....nothing specific, he\'s just n... |

Irony is a rheotircal device, so I do think it is overused....most people couldn\'t name 2 types of irony, let alone 3. (i.e. verbal, situational, dramatic.) |

Yeah doc, but so much for privacy, and security. Great, now a West Jet or Air Canada flight could be a teorrorist target.
I\'d advocate for another government-owned Air Canada, but I beleive that railways are the way to go. Flying will be too expensive some day in the next few years.. |

1921 isn\'y 1867, but I\'ll drop it. I really don\'t mind the flag at all, but I\'m still pretty sure that Pearson had no intention of including blue, even though the blue flag with white and the 3 red maple leaves looked very nice too.
I do agree that the single leaf is very unique, recognizable. |

Yup.....it\'s hilarious that she\'s running!!! Ontario hates Harris (and Janet Ecker, Mulroney, Clinton), so they won\'t vote for her, Quebec hates neocons, and people who aren\'t bilingual, so they are out, and Alberta wants a male candidate, so they\'re out. Also, B.C. is also more NDP than Conser... |

That\'s not true Dave. Our colours may have been designated red and white by the queen, but in practice our colours have only been red and white for a few decades. Our flag was previously the Union Jack, followed by the Red Ensign. Both of these flags had all 3 colours in them, to varying degrees. A... |

Hi anonymous. What would you suggest we do/talk about? And your last comment made no sense. \"Don\'t use the bastards money, and the system will implode on itself?\" Whatever that mean. Did you mean \"Don\'t GIVE them your money?\" -And how will shirking our taxes help anything? ... |
