Waterloo & Geulph are both fantastic cities with good affordable housing and a great deal to offer. Both are home to Universities & colleges and cater to a student lifestyle a fair bit but both are excellent places to raise a family. That’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we’re looking for. ...

Not for 18 to 24 months but we still haven’t decided exactly where yet. We’re thinking London, Waterloo, Guelph or maybe St. Catherine’s at the moment.

Is anybody fermilure with the region? What’s your opinion on the best area to move to?

What else is finished in Newfoundland? The offshore oil and gas industry. Thanks to Williams’ overblown BS the oil companies are packing up and moving out. He wanted an all or nothing deal and he’s getting his wish; nothing.

Yah I put on about 35 pounds, and I needed too.

Now this ‘staying home with the kid’ weight I’m starting to put on, I DON’T NEED THAT!

My wife went through eighteen months of chronic sinus infections, a side effect of quitting smoking. It was HELL. Not wanting to go through that again was one of her motivations early on. The smell/taste thing takes months or even years to develop. The change is so gradual that you’ll barely even no...

Vote his weasel ass out! We’re moving back to Ontario to retire in two years. Not having that King Weenie at Queens Park will make the move a little easier to swallow.

My neighbour’s waste-of-skin lazy-ass kid, his muffler-less oil pissing POS car and their rat sized dog that barks it’s freaking head off all day!

I’ve never noticed much of a difference in fuel economy driving with an empty rack on the car. The extra wind noise it makes drives me nuts though so I take the rack off when it’s not used. Last summer we did a long road trip with a cargo box on the roof. That thing lowered the fuel economy but most...

After a morning of running errands with my three year old; a Phillips head screwdriver bit, two empty snack sized raisin boxes, fruit bar wrapper, drink box straw wrapper, empty ziplock sandwich bag, 1$ Niagara Casino slot machine token, 5 Cheerios, some dust that was once 10 or 12 Cheerios, a small...

We need some Canadian Game Shows. Corner Gas and Robson Arms are pretty good; hmmm maybe it’s the lack of CBC involvement that has something to do with that. Last years mini-series At the Hotel on CBC was surprisingly good. Well except for the musical numbers, they sort of sucked. Thankfully Ken Fin...

From what I understand it takes about a week to get over the physical addiction. After that it’s a matter of breaking habits and changing behaviours. I’ve been quit twelve years now. I have no desire for a smoke whatsoever but it’s funny the little behaviours that still stick around. Even now I occa...

My wife has received a pretty sweet job offer in Waterloo Ontario. She’s still in early discussions with them and hasn’t made any commitments. Over the long weekend we’ll have to decide if we’re willing to relocate before she goes forward with any serious negotiations. So how is life in the Kitchene...

Air Canada employees should take a flight on West Jet just too see what good customer service looks like. On a flight to Victoria my wife and I were delayed in Prince George for three hours. The Airport’s ancient de-icing truck was broken and there was no mechanic on duty. West Jet gave us each a $2...
