Many may wish to forgo input to live in a larger society and are happy to take what they are given. Others may...

How do we prevent gouging? Regulation. Isn't that redundant if the goal is to reduce government and the cost related to it? In this particular case I would say not providing a long term monopoly with an agreement not to provide additional roads would be a good start. How are government sanctioned m...

Wrong. Entirely wrong, and he simply isn't smart enough to realize it. First off, Canada does need those planes. Leasing them is not a viable alternative, as this raises liability issues when taking them into potential combat zones -- such as, for example, peacekeeping missions in volatile regions....

Who want's to take bets that the retailers will use this as an excuse to raise prices again?
The retailers might raise costs. I can guarantee you the oil traders will be taking note.

Well if you had to choose between a pay as you go plan for a cell phone and the rate plan what one do you think will be more economical if everyone required a plan? Choice is a good thing. In this example a toll for roads based on scale of volume and weight may be more effective than a blanket toll...

I don't neccesarly agree that is the right way to do things(just like those who live in the microcities). I think it would be better restructure taxes based on usage(toll roads for example). Toll roads to me are an indication that things have gone sour. The best government is the one that does it's...

Anytime you start a serious thread and request that it not become a brawl, I will honor your request. Its more interesting if you try to quarrel. You are a worthless person to discuss with. Every time the pressure is on you, you simply run away. And USCAdad, remember one thing. The worst anti-semit...

The only good thing about you is the chick on your avatar is hot-ish. It ends there.

In my book she's way above hot-ish. The other thing I can say in defense of Swedes... damn fine Hockey players.

Funny, most of the time you don't seem like a libertarian or conservative to me. I'll have to start looking closer.

So, apart from having a Con name here, what conservative positions, traditions do you support? Founders intent? But don't you support military adventurism? How does this line up?

Ok, I'm switching my position slightly. An off board conversation has convinced me that if the Republicans can't find it within them to elect a small government conservative, I'm going to vote hard the other way. If Ron Paul can't bring back a desire for Constitutional government, I'm sure Hillary o...
