Bus drivers suck alright. I wonder why the bus driver didn't use lethal force to defend himself? Or why all the law abiding Edmontonian gun slingers didn't leap to the front of the bus brandishing away like mad? I wonder how many passengers thought the driver was getting his comeuppance for driving...

I think there was a study that showed buying guns at a gun show for illegal use would be like going to a classic car auction to buy a get away car. Sure it can be done, but the economics makes it a trivial point. not very common. Come on, you think antique and high value weapons are the only thing ...

has something to do with the relative value of illegal guns and legal guns. It doesn't make sense for criminals to buy legal guns, or something like that. No answer to the question? Shall I repeat it? For starters, someone who is going to use a gun to murder someone else might have a difficult time...

I thought this whole gun show loop myth was dispelled when critics put micheal moore in his place. IIRC, has something to do with the relative value of illegal guns and legal guns. So are you saying that if you are selling a gun privately in, let's say Vermont, you have to provide some proof of bac...

So this "gun show loophole" is limited to Vermont as opposed to your implication it was nationwide. You do realise that the US has STATE laws regarding firearms sales and not a single overriding "gun show loophole" law that you provide zero proof of, but instead call me a...

You've made this ridiculous statement a number of times, been asked for a link or other tangible proof to back up this moronic statement a number of times, and we get nothing from you. Merely stating something is not proof, time to pony up or shut up. I'm betting you won't do either. You won't offe...

Guns are here, they are not going to go away. Any legislation that attempts to negate this fact is bound to fail. The anti gun people are just that, anti gun people. Ineffectual at best, totally stupid at worst. Lets have an anti virus campaign, viruses kill more people than guns, they just don't m...

I general don't participate in discussion like manditory sentencing for hardworking canadians. IMHO, it petty and wrong to be sending them to jail because a bunch of Liberals are frustrated about the illegal guns that the street gangs have. I, too, don't like the illegal guns and street gangs. We m...

Throw him in for fifteen good ones and after they have done their worst on him to punish him for this heinous crime, let him loose so he can get a good job, make some money and maybe settle down with a nice girl. Start a family of his own. Just not in my city okay?

The problem is though Unf, we live next door to the largest handgun producer on the planet. The only thing that would work would involve US co-operation, and we know the love affair they have with guns so that ain't gonna happen. No sense in being more strict at the border either since there are th...

Yes but this same charge could be leveled against drivers now. You see we take the rifle out of the picture - that is to say we awknowledge that the rifle alone did not kill anyone but rather the lack of safety and ignoring the safety rules -- then it IS the same thing as drunken driving. The car d...

What about ATV's? They (apparently) have exactly zero safety standards to adhere to and have easily caused more deaths in Alberta than rifles. This was a stupid accident but it was entirely the users fault unlike some of the ATV accidents. The rifle in this case did nothing. The shooter said to him...
