Well, here I am, 3 1/2 years later, much longer than I had initially planned, but then I hadn't planned on any health problems along the way. Broken ribs & busted balls etc! All that aside, by comparison I only have some minor finishing such as parging & ledges & the cold room. A pi...

47 years as a smoker and the other day I finally said "To hell with it"! Washed all the ashtrays and put them up in the cupboard. Except for the crystal ones. They make nice candy dishes. I ran out of smokes on Sunday & just could not find the motivation to drive 14 km to buy som...

Certainly not on it's own. But it would take substantial money to fix the situation if it came to that. Doesn't seem much enthusiasm on either side for it. On the plus side we'd be free of the bullshit and erase the spatial people designation in our constitution. Why would it cost a 'substantial am...

What exactly do you think hate is, Yogi? It's anger on steroids. It's this guy getting so bent out of shape about a parking space he's willing to kill somebody. That's hate - in that moment he hated the people he killed, because they threatened his self-identity. Because certainly there was no rati...

Fuck you andy! ROTFL Don't know why but I just thought that was really funny. Yep, it's even funnier because I don't see what andy posted but like 99% of his posts it was probably him being a fucking idiot. [B-o] [i]You don't know how to read, Yogi. The last sentence refers to hate crime as laid do...

You don't know how to read, Yogi. The last sentence refers to hate crime as laid down in law - the person was attacked specifically because of their identifiable characteristic. Has nothing to do with neighbor disputes. You also didn't kill your neighbor, I assume. Fuck you andy! If it weren't for ...

[quote="andyt"]In that moment. love has turned to hate. This person had to hate these people to kill them over a parking spot - he somehow felt threatened in his status by them. That is what hate is - feeling threatened by the other person in some way, they want to take something from you....

Sure a lot of folks got hit hard. Some moreso than others. The majority of their financial problems are of their own doing. When you are making 10 k/mo you don't spend 10k/mo! Put some of it away. Do you really need an $85,000 5th wheel/Mastercraft speed boat/couple of seadoo's, matching Harley Davi...

Seriously, I just don't understand all the panic & knashing about measles. When I was a kid all kids I went to school with were encouraged to " Go over and visit with Stewart. He's got the measles/mumps/chicken pox/German measles." We didn't mind so much cuz we were fed copious amounts...

Yep. Don't think I could bullshit the doctor sufficiently that I'm in such pain I need opioids or benzos when there's no demonstrable proof of it. And, take too much drug and you might actually wind up puking it out and not dying, often. Dosage needs to be matched to your body weight. And, what peo...

Pretty vicious stuff there, Bart, to wish intolerable suffering on me. Not at all. I'm just passing along my sincere best wishes that you get to benefit from the policies that you promote. Or is this only a good policy to you when it applies to other people? In order to "benefit" from thi...
