I agree. We need Science to be unfetterred by Political interference. The only exception being sensitive Military Research. An Informed Voter is the best Voter and since the Voter is also paying for that Research, they deserve to know what their Tax dollars are producing. Sooo we should throw out a... |

You know you can write in your candidate. That's as effective as spoiling the ballot but it more specific. War is socialism, my libertarian friend. But necessary for defending freedom. (Which is not to advocate any current military activity) Most of the protestors I've been exposed to lately have been essentially protesting the government not spending enough money on them. It made me a bit cynical. But ... |

Hey Bart, why should we have either? ...both limit people's human rights. Pray, what is the punishment under sharia law for abandoning Islam? And what is the punishment for abandoning christianity? By my calculation any religion which doesn't threaten to kill you for abandoning it doesn't limit hum... |

Full disclosure: If I though PMSH was the greatest PM, I would likely be a card carrying conservative member still, and not running against them with the Libertarian party right now. |

I seem to have paid 0.25% MORE taxes in Harper's first year. Fat lot of good 1% GST reduction is when you have no disposable income. Why not do something really radical, stop jimmying the rates and brackets and raised the personal exemption to $15,000? People who spent $6885 or more on taxable good... |
