So I will gather from the limited interest of this topic that "correctness" is not recognized by participants to this forum as something that currently limits the reach or growth of Vive. |

I was talking mainly about people that are still "on the Rock". Obviously for the People that have left the Rock, it is better for them that Newfoundland is in Canada. Looks to me like an other Two Solitudes problem in the making... There is now much desolation there, many living off welfare with li... |

Most of the above do not bother me one bit other than they do hinder a broader participation. I often in fact get a real kick by challenging them, and specially as a combo package. Other than in my dealings with bureaucracies, I am generally fairly thick skinned and can sometimes be difficult to rea... |

Is there not more to Vive correctness than what is documented in its FAQs? <br /> <br />Correcteness is a code of behaviours that will be frowned upon by the "majority" when there is a violation of that code. The "minorities" will typically abstain from expressing themselves in these are... |

More bureaucracy out of control. I can see the PC cure will be more privatization and the NDP cure will be less privatization. Why can they not focus on fixing up the bureaucracy? Because it will take more bureaucracy? Or more effective governance... On a more positive note, it was refreshing to see... |

I was wondering if bureaucracy is also an issue on foreign aid. Some may remember the scary book from Michael Maren called "The Road to Hell" on aid agencies. Could better aid be delivered more directly by Canadians as yet another example of a Direct Democracy application? |

In response to Kory, DD does not take away the role of your MP. DD will most likely have to be facilitated by your MP in its early stages. We hear more and more that we should user our MP should when we have problems using our federal government services. I will soon let you know more about a DD cas... |

I must give full credit to now departed Michou for sticking to the forum topic and not engage in the ongoing "batailles rangées". I am in entire agreement with Michou on her comment on vastly different demographics in between Québec-anglos and FHQs. She also made a case of "services" that FHQs shoul... |
