| If the girl is underaged, then she is considered incapable of giving consent, therefore, it is a sexual assault, because the teacher is an adult and the student is a minor. If that is the case, then the teacher should have to register as a sex offender, because she is one. I can't say it any plainer... |

| The age of the student doesn't matter. It's the area of public trust that does. When I was a student, teaching was regarded as a profession. From what I've seen in the past ten years, it's just another union job. |

| I agree with both of you. I understand the protection laws and such. Built to protect. But the age the girl was at was certainly past the age of innocence. A lot of what happens with these teacher student scandals is severely wrong. But some of the punishments are both ridiculous and life-destroyin... |
