Wada Wada:
How does one hurt an economy thats already fucked. Oh yah! Spend more money for naught. Makes perfect sense. [B-o]

It's not for naught. It would be if the economy was good, but as it's bad, it's a temporary boost in employment and government spending. It's stimulus.

Even though this makes perfect sense, it'll fall on deaf ears.

Well, Iggy is out of control foaming at the mouth, it does turn people off showing the Liberals as being more concerned about gaining power at any cost, rather than caring about the economy, jobs etc. etc. The Liberal party has a good track record on the economy. The Conservatives' snap 2008 electi...

What are the odds on this scenario: Harper gets another minority gov't, the opposition immediately holds another non confidence motion forcing another election giving Harper another minority... raising the coalition of losers out of the ashes

Do you get paid to parrot this stuff?

I worked at minimum wage for a while. Rapidly discovered that the best way to make more money wasn't to hope for a raise or a min wage bump, but to be a good worker and be worth more hours. Going from 15 hours to 40 is worth an almost tripling in wages, but the employer gets more productivity out of...

Two referrals to the RCMP in a week. Did these cases just come to light now, or were they known about for a while and the Conservatives are conveniently throwing people under busses in an effort to dispel accusations of covering up wrongdoing? Vote Liberal! I don't know who I'm voting for next.

The PMO has called in the Mounties after learning of influence peddling allegations against a former senior aide. The Liberals call the situation serious because Bruce Carson was in the centre of the Harper machine. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/video/video-ex-harper-aide-allegations-serious-...

You could also use coal.

And expose people to as much or more radiation than a nuclear plant does.

One downside of the CANDU is that it produces quite a bit of Tritium, but the bonus being it won't melt down and can not be used to produce weapons. What's wrong with tritium - long half life? About 12 years half life To my thinking, the tritium wouldn't be that much of a threat. It's still hydroge...

The downside is, as his father said, that the kid will still have to deal with his peers. If you look at the end of the video, a much bigger guy looks like he's going to go after the victim next, only stopped by some hall monitor or something. And that body slam could have broken the younger guys' ...

Oh, and there are two good ones just up the east coast from Sydney; Warner Brother's Movie World, and Dreamworld. I've been to both and I remember them fondly.

Take him to the Aussie equivalent of Disneyland for those 4 days. I like that sentiment. So the school says you can't come for a few days. This is a bad thing? The kid gets to know he has the love and support of his parents, gets to have some fun, and gets to be the envy of his classmates when he r...

Hurley knows all about this stuff. I think all his kids were born at home. Yep, both my daughters were born healthy and happy at home. Even our second, at 10lb 12oz. The important thing is that there's someone there who's trained and experienced. It's absolutely insane that the hospital can get the...
