Clogeroo, what about the demographics that show Western Canada with an above average aging society? How do we overcome something like that? Briing in more immigrants for 3rd world countries? I'm one of those they talk about. I'm ready to call it quits. I figure another two years and I'll be wealthy... |

Provinces are free to join and leave my friend this confederation is only 139 years old. Are they though? If Alberta can up and leave, can't the Treaty Eight First Nations up and leave Alberta? And what if Medicine Hat decided that it actually liked Canada better. Are they just free to leave the Re... |

[won't vote for] NDP because they aren't fiscally responsible enough. I'm sure this is gonna come across as nothing more than sticking up for my party, but this position really irks me. I ask you this: Which NDP government ran up the federal debt? Which NDP government ran up the Alberta debt, recen... |

Quebecers tend to prefer having their charities run by the government, and it is to the government that they give more of their donations (in the form of higher taxes). Fraser Institute did a study a few years back on that very thing and came to the same conclusion. The higher the tax the greater t... |

A super elite with 2000+ posts should be able to understand forum rules. I reported your post to the admins. What exactly are you crying about? This is a forum for NDP supporters to discuss NDP issues with like minded folk. This is not a forum for non-NDs to bash the NDP. I got called out on this i... |

So get out, motorcycletwerp. The fact of the matter remains, FPTP is designed to punish parties with low, widespread levels of support. The NDP in the last election got 167% as many votes as the Bloc, but 57% as many seats. That's not democracy. FPTP also has the advantage of providing strong gover... |

How many times are we going to hear this tired old refrain from the NDP? "We can't win according to the rules of the game, so we want to change the rules." Sorry Rev. If you want to achieve power the solution is become a little less radical and come up with a platform Canadians support. N... |

I've seen a couple people post for the MK IV Supra, and that is indeed a sweet car. So is the Lotus Elise. But the sweetest of all, IMHO, is the Canadian built, Lotus designed, fully customizable, and insanely affordable Super 7 Hayabusa. http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/5317/s7hayabus... |

I've actually got dual Canadian / British citizenship since my Dad was born in England. That gives me pretty much all the citizenship I need since now a lot of Europe is open to me. I don't have any plans to use it, but it's nice to know it's there in case the Conservatives win a majority and destro... |

You know way too much on this subject. I hope I never cross paths with you IRL. Ever. I'm a boy from the prairie, a hunter, and a veteran. I would have gone easy on the waste of oxygen and pumped two rounds of rock salt from 25 yards. Not a kill but sure hurts. No problem, I get bail for the next 50 years. I often agree with you but in this I regard I wish to add my observations should someone get it in their head that this is a suita... |
