Well to remember this not not a full PR system it is half FPTP and half PR. I would not support full PR in that we are a big province and people in the north part would have no representation. The problem is that the Province is downloading so many of the services onto the municipal governments but offering no money to help. so therefore they need to look for new ways to get money for the new expenses. The system is broken we have governments that don't represent what the people actually want. In my riding of Haliberton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock the mpp got 47% of the vote meaning that the majority of the people don't get the representative that they wanted, how is that fair? Well to be fair and democratic if they want to form their own party nothing in the constitution says they cant. But so long as it isn't promoting hate for the other races it is ok.
