"It's no lie. It's here, it's fact ..." For the first time in years I had to buy snow tires for my car. F*cking global warming .. er, climate change cost me a bundle. "... what the result will be is largely understood, but not fully." Assuming things do eventually get hotter after the current ice ag...

"So, Dr. Suzuki. If I plant trees, do I get tax credits?"

Of course not, you only get penalized for both good *and* bad behaviour, you will *never* be rewarded unless you are some dick head that's high up in the government protected food chain.

Showing the hypocrisy and criminality of government, there's a satirical "notice" on the site: NOTICE Neither the registered owner or any other person affiliated with this website shall be held liable or responsible, or in any way encumbered by the material posted on this page or any other...

I like David and have enjoyed watching his excellent science show for years, but he must know that the hypothesis behind global warming is more than just a little uncertain, and may in fact be completely false. Everyone knows that we just experienced one of the coldest winters in years with the pola...

"the people voted for change and now we have Mr. Harper" Actually, Harper got "elected" with less than 1/4 of the eligible vote, while slightly over 75% of the vote went elsewhere. The harsh reality is that approximately 64% of the people who were eligible to vote chose not to vo...

Ah crap DC, our 9/11 discussion is toast. Oh well. Not sure if this change will be an improvement, but will give it a try. I sure hope the promised new features will make for an improvement over the previous site. Anyway, I know doing stuff like this is not at all easy, so I wish the site admins the...

Supposedly Canada has about 30 guns per 100 people and attempts to take away all our guns is being heavily resisted (for good reason I may add).

Anyway, I guess we'd better school up on IED making just to be on the safe side.

"Sometime I think you get more absurd, just to keep on with a dead subject."<br /> <br /> This is far from a dead subject. The 9/11 truth movement is in no way receding and appears to be growing.<br /> <br /> "No one is asking anyone to predict the impossible, ...

"She has been considering running for the NDP for some time." The rats are jumping a sinking ship. Note that Boivin was a Michael Ignatieff supporter, yet Ignatieff's views are contrary to those currently being expressed by the NDP as official policy. So why is Boivin joining up with the N...

"The work that both parties are committed to keeps functioning." Agreed. It works just like the two-party system in the USA, where both support each others core policies but pretend that they oppose each other by opposing only superficial policies. When really unpopular and destructive pol...

Note that "share troops in civil emergencies" where a civil emergency can mean riots in the streets against an unpopular totalitarian style of government, such as the one Harper is currently running.

I see many so-called 'nationalists' talk about how integration with the US is generally a bad thing for the average Canadian. As far as I know, the US is the only country that's trying to 'integrate' with Canada, and as far as I can tell, whatever integration that has been tried out has not in gener...
