Years ago, when Syrian troops were still stationed in Lebanon en masse, the Syrian ambassador to Canada was interviewed on a Canadian television newsshow. He claimed, at the time, that "Lebanon was and would always be part of greater Syria." I guess that, with Iran-sponsored Hezbollah bein...
