If it turns out to be the soap used today then this guy just a really wierd dude.

If it turns out to be made from hunan remains as some fear all the soap should be confiscated as is any evidence of a crime and Yad Vashem in Israel should be consulted as to what do do with the soap.

In any event this guy is certainly a wierd creep.

The owner of the store, who is Jewish, said he bought the soap from an ex-soldier and it dated from the Second World War. The soap was on sale for $300.

We have quite a lot of artifacts that remind us of the litany of atrocities the Nazi committed against the human race. These few bars of soap won't make a difference.

Look, every piece of historical evidence that the Holocaust took place has to be kept, dispite the despicable way the artifact came into being or what it repesents.

I have to agree with Xerxes. I absolutely adore history and all it represents. It keeps us from making the same mistakes, provides us with a windoe into our own day and lives and gives teachers an excuse to bore the shit out of us, but this is just atrocious.

Gah I'm twisted on this. Both xerxes and tritium have valid points on if to destroy it or preserve it for historical reasons. Maybe it should just be buried or cremated like if they were an actual body. I'm not sure.

That is a good one. But I personally think that this is absolutely vily digusting. I can understand keeping the stolen shoes and rings for the historical record, but it's not as if by burning this soap one won't have a record that they existed, they just wouldn't be avaliable.
