How do you breath with your head so deep?

Trudeau is really hated in Québec. His presence as prime minister could only help the sovereignist movement. There's a chance I vote for him just because of that.

And yet the article said that Canadians of all stripes(which includes Quebecers and seperatists) overwhelmingly approve of him.

Haha...well it's true...he would get voted by a lot of people because of the sex appeal and charisma that he has.

Just like his father...

I mean...my mother, who started voting in '71, voted for Trudeau for those reasons...charisma...charm...

And now, she is a solid Conservative supporter.

The fact that a guy not much older than me and with about as much political experience as me is the leading pick based mrely on his name is not only frightening, but speaks volumes about the sheer lack of charisma and anything substantial coming from our current leaders... 8O

It speaks volumes that the Liberal party is so desperate that, rather than do the hard work nessesary to make the Liberal party work again, they'd rather bet it all on a long shot. Like someone with the right last name and fancy talk is somehow going to fix the funding problems the Libs have, unite the factions and figure out a policy that is a little deeper than a napkin sketch?

Election successes are built upon a lot of planning, funding and hard work, not a smooth-talking idea guy.

Almost the worst showing in Liberal history and you guys are either blaming it on:
A) a bad interview from a mean old right wing media
B) Mean old Harper and his attack ads making this the first dirty election ever
C) a misunderstood but brilliant leader.. who all of you now want gone so you can replace him with the next scapegoat.

My vote is still for Ujoll or maybe Volpe.

Well given your motives for saying so, that must be a plus for Justin.

Ujjal probably would have done better than Dion.
But then we'd have seen TWO guys debate in sweaters with no passion or policy.
Don't try to tarnish the OOJ, Jesus himself couldn't have saved the BC NDP after Glen Clark...

Trudeau's complete lack of experience is a good thing. Let him smile, speak and meet the diplomats. Let the backroom make policy. Only sheeple need leaders.
