DrCaleb DrCaleb:

He's just trying to goad me into a trollfest, and we all know it.

I'm not biting that hook. ;)

And hooked.

Why don't we put the posturing aside and get to the meat of the issue?
And no it's not about the 'editorial policy' of CKA forums.

The oft repeated claim of some high level or a consensus of climate scientists support global warming, seems to be a fabrication of bad science.

When the source was checked it was found to be misrepresenting the works of other scientists. More than a few of those scientists out right stating their work was being incorrectly understood by Cook.

Is it still your stance that this is just opinions about opinions and well beneath you, unworthy of comment other than to complain it's not news?

I'd say 99.9% of scientists support global warming myself. Probably around 97% support anthropogenic global warming. And some unknown percentage, but signfiicantly less than 97% support catastrophic anthrpogenic global warming.

That's only because it's -7 in Ottawa right now. Come the summer and they'll be opposed to it again. 8)
