The Viper would have been a better investment.
A craft with air intakes and stubby wings for use in the vacuum of space.
They also were seen to operate in atmospheric environments so the stubby wings were useful at times. Sort of like the space shuttle.

I don't care if it increased costs for other nations. Cancel our order.

Agreed. Increased costs for someone else should not be a factor in deciding to keep Canada's order for this turkey.
