Just more of Justin's or should I say Gerald Butts lies and bullshit exposed. It should be fun when the bills come due from his outrageous and excessively expensive promises used to buy all those believers votes. [B-o]

To bad our great great grand children will be paying for his largess, unless of course he goes back on his promises which is impossible because that'd make him just another lying politician who used gullible people to get himself elected.

Won't our great great grand kids also be crossing bridges and going to hospitals built by that lying politician and his gullible, used people?

Sure? Spin it anyway you want it but the fact remains that the decreased oil revenues, outrageous campaign promises, combined with a promised tax reduction for the largest portion of the paying public pretty much ensures the only way these projects will go forward is if the Gov't can "borrow" the money.

And, if you think our great great grand children will be happy about paying from cradle to grave for antiquated buildings, roads and bridges while having no source of funding for new ones then you're quite possibly as delusional as our current administration.

Unless of course the plan all along was to use the Greek model which is, borrow big, go broke and then not bother paying back any of the monies while begging for a bailout. Then it just might work.

Otherwise, given the fiscal reality that's today these big money promises will have to be outright broken or "delayed" which is just another euphemism for we lied to you but thanks for coming out.

Building some public service that will last three or four generations isn't putting a burden on the future.

Only if it doesn't break the bank and leave it bare for future generations. Fiscal responsibility is tantamount to stability and long term viability because if those buildings, roads and bridges can't be replaced without borrowing it becomes nothing more than a repetitive burden passed on to succeeding generations till it finally reaches the point where one can't raise the funds causing the whole system to melt down.

You guys know that a billion or two is less than half a percent of the total annual expenditures, right?

It's a rounding error, not the end of civilization as we know it!

We shouldn't be afraid of long term planning! We also shouldn't be afraid of stepping up to the plate to keep people working and provide for our grand children's future needs.

Yep, just pile it into the big computer of 00000000000000000000000000s.

Let us know when we get to paying 30% of tax revenue in interest payments... Again.

You won't pay it, I won't pay it. Fife won't pay it either.

Party Time !
