yep, works all the time.

Indeed it does work all the time, but not as you describe. If you see a grouse, pump your shotgun to load a round into the chamber, and then fire. Until then, there is no round in the chamber.
Does that work on a double barrel as well :lol: Wonder why they put safety catches on the damn things? A semi requires you to free a hand and pull back the bolt. Quick reflexes there dude.

And that's why the call it progress. I also drive a car with seat belts. Older cars have a certain character, but are much less safe. Also, what are you doing with your other hand? Hunting birds isn't that arousing.

Hunting Regulations !
It is a violation to:carry a loaded firearm in or on a vehicle or while on horseback. A rifle or shotgun is deemed loaded when shells are in the magazine or when a loaded clip is attached to a hinge plate or in contact with the firearm. A muzzleloader is deemed loaded when the firearm is charged and the ignition system is in place on the firearm.

Gee Danno, I would hope your other hand is holding the shotgun, not your gun 8O
