    Good to see you pumping Alberta's tires for a change and not just the useless NDP. This plant broke ground June 2013 and buddy that works there said there would have been at less 2 years planning before that. So lets say 2010 - 2011, long before voters wanted to give the PC's a protest vote. Just to keep things in prospective. :lol:

    Your perceptions notwithstanding, I try to 'pump' the facts past the politics, no matter how inconvenient.

    I was working at the Department of Energy when this plant was approved. I think it's important for people to think of Alberta not just as an energy producer but we do a lot of things that cause low or no carbon emissions, like this plastics plant and other things like petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.

    People just like to rag on the oilsands, but forget where many things they use in every day life come from. Usually, from Oil. ;)
