So the G7, all top industrialized countries, offers up $20million, so now Dopey can poney up another $15 million by hisself, when no one else is doing anything.

Nice virtue signaling going on, with your money.

Your beloved right-wing authoritarian wannabe dictator is burning down the rainforest. Somebodys got to step up and do something. Suck on it.

Well really, Jair should be removed from office. I know he won't be, I just wish he was.

And Bolsonaro has called out the army to help put out the fires.

No word on what Bolivia is doing, but good idea...work to put out the fires (in Brazil's section of the Amazon at least) rather than threaten sanctions so you can dance around after you bring down the government and pretend forest fires are caused by voting in a leader who's not a Progressive Socialist. That was another thing the globalist arm at the G7 were suggesting.

Your beloved dictator has long had the nickname captain chainsaw for his calls to burn down the rainforest and forcibly assimilate the indigenous people. Now hes in charge and somehow penalties for illegal burning are way down while acts of illegal burning and attacks against indigenous committees are way up and your thug shrugs his shoulders. How clueless can rhe Right possibly be?

Sitting on the railway tracks protesting that the cross arms, lights and bells are merely virtue signalling.
But bitching that Canada's doing almost as much as the other countries combined... takes the idiot cake.

I'm not sure how it's "bitching" to say the G7 deciding to help Brazil put out its fires seems like a good idea rather than bitching about how the big bad 'far right' wasn't fining farmers enough.

But whatever...I guess that's how it translates in the fantasy realm of Progworld.

Although Martin may have a point that our Canadian SJW in chief may be overcompensating with OPM (other peoples money).

Are you proposing that the world goes to war against Brazil to save the Amazon? Or are you just butthurt that another leftist country turned to the right and this is an excuse to spew your butthurt at everyone?

The Righties must have some serious Trudeau Derangement Syndrome to object to helping put out a forest fire. Burn down the forests. Itll totally own the libs!

    ROTFL Pathetic.

    NO morals whatsoever.

Used to have a politically incorrect term for people blubbering over forty odd cents. That was about two cents back when it was used commonly.

Im proposing that another of the worlds worst people has come to power with the support of Russia and multinational corporations and youre so obsessed with supporting anyone who claims to be right wing no matter you'll literally support and defend a detestable criminal scumbag like this while getting upset over fighting forest fires. Thats the ultimate identity politics.

There is turning to the Right, and then there is the conscious and criminal decision to destroy habitat, and homes.
