Not the least surprised to read that the so-called oppressed are now the oppressors.

Maybe the worm has turned because this is the last verdict I ever expected from the CHRC regarding a straight person's complaint about gays being given preferred status.

I'm also hopeful given this result that, had this this had been a Gay company owner denying promotion to a non gay employee because of his sexual preference the outcome of the complaint would have been exactly the same. Because, if this is truly a case of leveling the playing field than we're slowly drifting towards a state of unbiased reality.

Although, I kind of wonder if this verdict isn't just the giant corporation vs the little guy scenario and they looked at it as a "no harm no foul" case because no actual gays were disadvantaged, insulted or even consulted when they made the decision to do the right thing.

This sucks and deserves to be punished, and hopefully CIBC has to pay through the nose in compensation of letting an abusive pervert mafia set up shop in one of their corporate departments. I will point out though, that when something similar happens with women who claim to be harassed and humiliated and glass-ceiling-ed by a pack of powerful hetero males they're usually contemptuously dismissed as liars and whiners by today's alleged "conservatives". See FOX News and Trump, Donald as the most-recent primary examples of this knee-jerk rejection of credible claims made against them by the "fans" of the accused.

I'm still left wondering if this had been a straight white person how the verdict might have gone, Freakin'. Just saying.
