Anyone can say anything to anyone, and nothing is real on the internet, unless you see people face to face on cam.
Maybe we should just use the "delete" button a bit more, when we chat somewhere with people we wouldn't chat to on the streets. Really, it's not that hard.
I am sick and tired of the victims who say they were "lured into" anything online. Use your head. EVERYONE is one click from deletion.

Yeah, I use webcam to confirm most of the time, but it can be confusing. For example, a friend of mine is only 16 but could pass for 18 because of her height and how, er, "developed" she is.

As Brenda said, everyone is a click away from deletion/being blocked.
